Privacy and cookies.
This policy explains how your data is used when you visit our website or contact Walk & Wash.
1. Data controller and contact
WALK & WASH, a French SAS with its registered office at 21 chemin de Boudet, 31600 Muret, France, is the controller for the processing described here. For any questions about your data, email contact@walkandwash.fr.
Information about the publisher is provided in the legal notice.
2. Data collected and purposes
Your enquiries and sales follow-up. The form collects your first name, last name, email address, phone number and, if you wish, your message. This information is used to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and manage subsequent correspondence using our internal sales enquiry management tools. Required fields are necessary to process your request: without this information, the form cannot be submitted. Your message is optional. This form does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Preparing a quote or project at your request is based on pre-contractual steps. Responding to other enquiries and following up with professional contacts is based on our legitimate interest in managing our commercial relationships.
Browsing and security. Technical data, such as your IP address and request information, is processed to operate the website and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Source of enquiries. With your consent to statistics or marketing, information about the source of your visit may accompany your enquiry to measure the effectiveness of the website and campaigns. Advertising identifiers are only used with your consent to marketing.
The profitability simulator runs directly in your browser. Simulation results and settings are not transmitted to Walk & Wash.
3. Cookies and audience measurement
Necessary trackers help remember your preferences and protect the website. Other tools are activated only with your consent:
- Google Analytics measures website traffic, browsing and enquiries submitted through the form.
- Meta Pixel measures advertising campaigns and the enquiries they generate.
You can accept, refuse or choose statistics and marketing separately. Your decision is saved for 180 days. Refusing does not prevent you from visiting the website or sending an enquiry.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect processing already carried out with your consent.
4. Recipients and service providers
Depending on their roles and the data needed to perform them, recipients are:
- Authorised Walk & Wash personnel, responsible for responding to enquiries, preparing quotes and following up on sales enquiries.
- Hosting and storage providers, for storing and securing website and sales enquiry data.
- Communication and enquiry processing providers, for delivering messages and managing sales correspondence.
- Website display service providers, which receive technical browsing data to supply fonts.
- Audience measurement and advertising providers, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, only in accordance with your consent to the relevant categories.
For measurement tools, you can consult the privacy policies of Google and Meta.
5. Retention periods
Your cookie preferences are saved for 180 days. Google Analytics cookies placed by this website are configured to last 180 days, without automatically extending their duration on each visit.
Information about the source of your visit is stored in your browser for the session, or until the corresponding consent is withdrawn. If you submit an enquiry, permitted information may also be recorded with it in our internal sales enquiry management tools.
6. Possible transfers outside the EEA
Using the technical providers mentioned above may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. This concerns hosting, storage, communication and website display services and, depending on your consent, audience measurement and advertising.
For any questions about transfers of your data, you can contact us at contact@walkandwash.fr.
7. Your rights
Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and request portability where this right applies. For processing based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise your rights, send your request to contact@walkandwash.fr or to WALK & WASH’s registered office. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
